When planning a wedding, one discovers there is a lot to remember besides the actual day of the wedding.

Especially to ensure accuracy and that everyone is on the same page, brides and grooms must remember when deposits are due, when things like favors and the cake must be ordered, how long prior to the wedding must invitations be mailed out, etcetera, etcetera...not to mention worrying about human error causing a storm on an otherwise perfectly-envisioned day. To aid in such things, we here at Vanity Fare suggest that all our future newlyweds create a notebook or binder specifically dedicated to the purpose of planning their wedding.

Within this binder, we suggest that you write down everything. Yes, everything. No idea is too grand; no detail is too small. Take notes of conversations had between each other and with caterers, florists, decorators, and anyone else involved in making your day all you want it to be . If not given them, always ask for copies of contracts and ordering sheets...and keep every receipt you acquire. Should something break or be engraved incorrectly or be no longer needed, you'll have less difficulty returning it. Write dates on multiple calendars as to never let deposits or final payments slip your mind. And while doing all of these things may not prevent something from going wrong, it will most definitely help a lot more to go right.

Birthday Bash!

The month of March brought many birthday parties to the halls of Vanity Fare. This month we celebrated a 60th Birthday party, a 80th Birthday Party, Sweet 16’s and a quinceanera!

We had many smiling faces of all ages and had different ways to celebrate each, a candy bar display, collages of pictures, and different types of birthday traditions! More Than Just Weddings

Recently, Vanity Fare was awarded the prestigious Bride's Choice Award 2012, placing our facility in the top five percentile of wedding professionals! We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our past cliental for all their positive feedback and referals of the past year. However, we would like to remind you that our services are not in existence simply to be utilized for the purpose of weddings. Vanity Fare is a divine choice for a variety of different occasions & functions!

Over the course of the past month, Vanity Fare has hosted a number of fabulous non-wedding events. Two darling little girls were "transformed" into women at their Quinceaneras, complete with both traditional and ballroom dances, candle-lighting ceremonies, and one very modern father-daughter jive set to Elvis' "Hound Dog".

What followed these events was some truly outside-the-box thinking: a dance studio made up of fifty adorable young ladies turned the ballroom dance floor of Vanity Fare into a stage for their winter recital. The girls danced their hearts out, performing seventeen individual numbers with costume changes for each number! Following the show, the girls, their parents and their instructors indulged in some of our chef's exquisitely-prepared dishes before jumping back onto the dance floor to celebrate their achievements.
